Warthog Cream Ale
This summer has been a long and arduous one thus far. Though I wish I could say it has a certainty of improving, that is beyond my reach. What I can say is that I continue to grasp slipping threads of hope over this more difficult than average portion of my life. At some point, something needs to give. Hopefully soon I can begin to make things happen.
In other news, my mom is headed out to Alberta to visit me, incredibly enough. We are planning on renting a car and going to see Jasper among other fun destinations. It has indeed been a long time since I have seen anybody from Michigan - 8 months or so, actually. It will be nice to have my first visitor in years. I plan on showing off the university, and all of my usual haunts around here. In general, I think it will be a good time.
Big Rock (brewery in Calgary, AB) makes a delightfully good beer for the summer called Warthog Cream Ale. I tried it for the first time a few days ago and quite enjoyed it.
